Support for Experts and Volunteers
JICE supports overseas activities by taking care of all the necessary paperwork and financial matters for dispatching JICA experts, JOCVs, JICA senior volunteers and study teams overseas.
Before their departure, JICE provides liaison and coordination with relevant local organizations concerning dispatch schedules as well as travel arrangements, passports, visas, and air tickets. While they are abroad, JICE provides services such as disbursement of their monthly pay and other expenses, paperwork required for their temporary return to Japan, and responses to any inquiries. After they return home, JICE settles their transportation expenses.
Considering the country or region where they are dispatched, JICE assists them with timely, prompt, and high-quality service to enable the experts and volunteers to devote themselves fully to their mission.
