Management of International Training Courses
JICE has expert training coordinators with specialized knowledge of 31 languages. They are actively working as interpreters for international conferences, training courses, observations, and courtesy calls.
Interpretation by JICE training coordinators supports communication by utilizing their accumulated knowledge and experience acquired through management of international training courses.
Training coordinators not only translate words but also act as bridges for smoother communication, considering differences of cultural and social backgrounds.
They will also act as liaisons and coordinators with all the organizations involved and give trainees useful advice regarding their everyday life in Japan. The main responsibility of JICE training coordinators is to help all the relevant parties achieve the objectives of the training courses by establishing favorable human relationship among trainees, between trainees and lecturers, and between trainees and those in charge of implementing training courses. They link all the relevant parties and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training courses.
JICE also dispatches its training coordinators overseas to over 100 overseas sites every year, as requested by JICA, consulting firms, or other organizations to act as interpreters for international conferences or JICA study teams
