About JICE's International Exchange Program

JICE's international exchange programs are intended to creat a bridge between Japan and other countries/regions in Asia, North America, Oceania and Latin America. These programs are launched and fully funded by the government of Japan to revitalize the Japanese economy and to promote potential interests towards Japan as well as global understanding of Japan's strengths, attractions, and values, including Cool Japan. The participants are expected to actively spread and share their experiences in Japan with the world using SNS, blogs and so forth after returning their home countries.

JENESYS2015, KAKEHASHI Project and Juntos!! are people-to-people exchange program between Japan and other countries such as North America, Asia region and Latin Ameica, and will succeed JENESYS 2.0 and KAKEHASHI Project– The Bridge for Tomorrow-.

(Implementation Period:March, 2013 - March, 2015)
JENESYS2.0 and KAKEHASHI Project launched by the government of Japan, aims to revitalize the Japanese economy and to promote potential interests towards Japan as well as global understanding of Japan's strengths, allures, and values, including “Cool Japan.” JICE is planning to both invite and dispatch the youth to Asian-Oceanian countries/regions.

「Kizuna (bond) Project/The Youth-Exchange Project with Asia-Oceania and North America」
(Implementation Period:April, 2012 - March, 2013)
Kizuna (Bond) Project, launched by the government of Japan, aims to promote other countries' accurate understanding with regards to Japan's revival efforts in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake. JICE was selected as the organization that comprehensively coordinates and implements the programs for visiting the disaster-affected areas.

「JENESYS Program/Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths」
(Implementation Period:May, 2007 - July, 2012)
JENESYS Program, launched by the government of Japan, aims to provide a sound foundation for strong solidarity within Asia through large-scale youth exchange. JICE invites the youth from Asian-Oceanian countries/regions as well as dispatch Japanese youth to these areas.
